C is for Cookie

Ok! I'm outing myself! C is for Cookie! For some reason a lot of people have thought that this blog is run by somebody named Melody. Well, it's not. I don't know why, but putting my first name out there is the first step towards non-anonymity and scares me. I mean, how many Cookies do you know? Who knit? And if you ever figure out the rest of my name? Well, I'm pretty sure you don't know any of those, unless they're in my immediate family. You see, my family is generally pretty cautious about using our name because we're the only ones. We're not Smiths or Joneses or Hayeses. If you google my name, the only results are for me or my brother. The only websites mentioning my name are a bridge tournament results page and a popular pseudo-science book website (I'm credited). Have I ever mentioned that I'm ready to retire any day now? All my hobbies scream "OLD WOMAN!"
