One sock down, one to go

Like I said the other day, I finished my Blueberry Hill socks the other day and have started the second sock. The second sock is moving somewhat slowly as I have been fairly focused on my stole. Hopefully while watching my students take a final I'll get some work done on the sock. At any rate, here's the first one:

Project specs: This is the Conwy sock from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. I shortened the pattern and got rid of the calf shaping. It's knit in Cherry Tree Hill Merino sock yarn in the Blueberry Hill colorway on size 1 dpns.

A close-up of the stitch pattern:

The stitch pattern is a bit hard to make out, but it basically looks like braids. The texture gets a bit lost in the merino, but I like the look of it anyway.

Next up from me: another book review!

Comments

Very nice - the good thing about texture in the sock is how it makes them stay up well. I like the combination with the colourway - looks like the sunset.

Not much on my mind these days, but what can I say? It's not important. I just don't have much to say lately. I've just been letting everything pass me by recently, but eh.
