First, a picture of my Angelina progress:
I still need to knit the lace edging on the sleeves and weave in ends, but it's looking quite fuzzy. It is SO WARM. I love it!!!
K and I will probably be pretty busy for the rest of the month with holiday travel and stuff, but after all that is over I will be moving west. That is, west to the SF Bay Area. Closer to K! I'm worried. What will I knit while I'm there? Will I have to trade in all my wool for cotton? I see a lot of socks in my future. And not just because we're moving to Cali, but because K and I went on a sock yarn binge at Ewe Knit Kits!
First, some Jawoll superwash in two different colors:
Some Brown Sheep Wildfoote in Jungle:
Some Cherry Tree Hill Supersock (which I learned about from my wonderful Secret Pal):

Yes, I realize I already have sock yarn I haven't knit. I can't help my yarn hoarding instincts!!! I'm hoping to get some size 1 and 0 dpns for Xmas, or I may just buy some later this week.
The stole has progressed but not enough to pose for a picture quite yet.
Think you have enough sock yarn?! Holy crap! haha...have fun with it. And good luck moving, too!
Posted by: Laura at December 14, 2004 5:43 PMHi Melody, I just joined the Bay Area Knitters ring and came across your blog. What a nice surprise to see "my" yarn - I made a pair of socks from the same Regia yarn! Here is a link to my pic in case you want to see how they'll turn out:
