Singin' in the Washer

A looooong time ago, I knit up this bag, very loosely based on the Sophie in MagKnits. I changed the straps and did the shaping as i wanted and added a border, etc. So I call it the Lead Singer bag, because that's who is getting this bag. I hope she doesn't read this? Anyway, it's made with the yarn that C and I dyed earlier this year. I finally got around to felting it on Friday, and I LOVE it. I'll be making more of these.

In other knitting news, I went to the San Jose area SnB today at Orchard Valley Coffee. What a great group of folks! I had a great time chatting with everyone and seeing their projects. I worked mostly on the BBBBlanket. It will get done someday, I hope.

Which reminds me, I joined the Bay Area Knitters WebRing, so hopefully we'll all be able to find each other in cyberspace now. Check it out on the sidebar ...

The Christmas List seems to be getting longer, rather than shorter. Bah!

Hey Kristi.

Sorry I missed you at the SnB. I had a nanowrimo.org half way there gathering to attend. I ended up leaving right as other knitters were showing up. Though I did make some progress on a [different] scarf. Just a simple seed stitch on this one.

That bag positively glows. Very nice.

See you at another SnB.

Found you, Kristi! :)

I was thinking about your offer to meet up at the handweaving place in Mountain View. I am very interested, but I am moving at the end of this month,s o after that would be best for me.

On the topic of this post: I like the color of your bag. :)
