I haven't had a lot of time to devote to DDR of late. Since I've started up a workout regimen, the number of days available during the week has been reduced. Also, I've been doing a lot of gaming (board & card) of late. In spite of those distractions, I got in about an hour's worth of DDR Extreme 2 today.

DDR Extreme 2 is probably the best US PS2 mix so far. It really makes up for the abysmal DDR Extreme by having a good mix of old skool faves and new tracks. Throwing in a new feature like Dance Master mode never hurts. Out of the new songs, I'd have to say that my faves are "As The Rush Comes", "Love Is Orange" and "Polovtsian Dances And Chorus".

Unfortunately, I don't seem to have made any progress in terms of getting any better. I seem to be stuck at passing most 8's and occasionally passing 9's. The one big accomplishment I can share is finally passing the mission mode version of Candy from Dancing Stage Fusion (think one long 190 BPM stream). I guess I just need to spend more time getting my feet & parsing skills ready for the next tier of songs.
