I have lots to say about my trip to Buenos Aires, but it's taken me this long to do anything about it. Unfortunately, I still don't have the time quite yet to do it justice. Until then, enjoy this small set of photos.

Quick entry just to bring people up to speed - I have successfully concluded my job search by joining the local division of "The Man"; I officially start on March 28th. To kill time until then and as a last hurrah of freedom before the inevitable crush of work begins, I'm taking a one week trip to Buenos Aires starting tomorrow.
I'm slowly turning into a DDR freak.
I've been playing fairly regularly over at Kakumei's place on some dope pads for the past few months, probably averaging about one 1+ hour session per a week. During that time, I've slowly been picking up the footwork & arrow parsing skills necessary to play the more advanced stuff. Happily, I've gotten to the point where I'm regularly playing standard & passing. Heck, I've even passed a 7-foot challenge, figured out the gallop on Tsugaru enough to pass and actually survived one of the Paranoia's. Crossovers & off-beat steps still give me problems, but I will prevail one day.
At this point, I'm pretty certain that I'm going to end up dropping a fat wad of cashish on getting the primo set-up: one or two Cobalt Fluxes, DDR Max 2 (JP), DDR Extreme (JP), and probably the US releases. I'm so sure my neighbors will hate me when I do get this.
