It goes straight to the brain.

I have discovered the purest form of java web-game crack: Rocket Mania!

It's another clever and addictive time-waster put out by PopCap Games. It's a clever mix of Pipe Dream and Tetris. It will suck hours of your life away.

Sexxy Vince and I have already been claimed. It's your turn next. Muahahaha.

Mr. Anderson

Welcome back...we...missed...you.

If you run into any problems, please let the management know by commenting on this entry.

(Geek Alert: The CSS2 menus at the top won't show up if you're using IE. Mozilla based browsers and possibly other more compliant browsers should get nice little drop-downs.)

Waterfall Effects

"When it rains, it pours."

As remarkably cliche as it sounds, it does ring true.

This week, I've been going slightly crazy with work as I've been the victim of project mismanagement. I imagine the conversation went something like this:

"Oh...what's this? A quarterly goal due in a week? Whatever will we do?"
"I know. Let's do what we always do: dump it on the schmuck programmer that seems to do an excellent job of bailing our asses out. When bonus time comes around, we'll collect the megabucks."
"That's an excellent idea! Summon him so we may fuck him over."

Ok...that might be a *smidge* to cynical, but that's certainly how it feels.

On top of that, yesterday brought an unexpected bong from a seemingly secure job prospect and the omakase sushi dinner & booze wreaking havoc on my stomach up until about now.

Today isn't as bad as yesterday, but it still sucks...things still need to be taken care of. I guess I'll utterly slack until Monday (if I get the chance) before beginning Le Process again.

Lists, glorious lists

I've become hooked on The Note. It's a list-style amalgamation of the political news of the day. Think the A2 quick summary section in a deadtree paper crossed with the important or interesting points of each article noted and commented on with a dash of humor. It's a very nice and entertaining way to keep track of everything that's going on in the presidential race.
