My lesbian love story has been cancelled. Frankly, I’m relieved. The script was gorgeous but the production aspect was so disorganized that it’s really for the best that it doesn’t happen. Sharon - who would have played my girlfriend - dropped out of the show. She had the balls - which I didn’t - to say “Hey, this is going nowhere, we have six rehearsals left and I don’t feel like you have the directorial wherewithal to make me not feel embarassed of the end product.” We might still do a staged reading, but nobody knows yet. God, what a weight off my shoulders. I’ve been really lucky since I’ve been in Seattle - I haven’t been in any shows that I would consider “stinkers”. I know everyone has to do it at some point - you know, pay your dues - but I’ve been putting off the whole “being in a show I’m not proud of” thing as long as I can, and I’m glad I don’t have to break my winning streak.

Now, let’s see if that luck carries over into trying to re-license my car. Ha, ha, ha.
